Tom Moriarty, Chief Executive

Chief Executive and founder of ICIS, Tom has over 14 years’ experience advising corporates on their public relations activities. Initially advising companies on their corporate and trade public relations requirements, he acted for many hi-tech manufacturing and multi-national European companies including Olivetti, IBS and EADS. Since coming to the City in 1994, he has provided financial PR and IR support for a wide range of companies both at home and abroad including Texas Instruments, SBC Communications and SurfControl plc.
In May 1999, he formed ICIS, the first specialist financial PR consultancy focused on the Technology, Media and Telecoms sectors. Over the years, Tom has advised companies in the public and private sector on all aspects of corporate development such as IPOs, fund raising and M&A activity. Tom is an avid sports fan and is gradually ticking off attendance at all the world’s great sporting events. He is also a guitarist and composer occasionally gigging in London.

Caroline Evans-Jones, Director

Caroline has over 9 years experience in technology and media financial PR, joining ICIS shortly after it was formed as a graduate from Nottingham University in 2000. Caroline has managed corporate and financial PR accounts for both private and public technology companies, including Cambridge Silicon Radio, SurfControl plc, Staffware plc and most recently the IPOs of Imaginatik plc and Craneware plc, the latter being voted AIM IPO of the year in 2007.
Caroline is a member of the England Women’s Touch Rugby team who are current European champions.

Fiona Conroy, Account Manager

Fiona joined ICIS in 2007 from The University of Edinburgh, having gained a MA Hons in Geography where she focused on socio-economic and political sciences.  Prior to joining ICIS Fiona also worked at the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) and is a keen skier. Fiona currently looks after several of ICIS' technology and media clients including ANT, Bango, Redstone and WIN.

Hilary Millar, Account Executive

A Canadian national, Hilary joined ICIS in 2008 while completing her MSc at the London School of Economics in Environment and Development studies. She has previously studied in Spain, Dominican Republic and Australia, and most recently worked in the UK as a Project Officer at the Carbon Disclosure Project. Whilst training as an Account Executive, Hilary is involved in market research and news monitoring for the team. In her spare time, Hilary enjoys brushing up on her tennis game, as well as horseback riding, hiking and further acquainting herself with the quirks of the UK and its people.

Bella McAvoy, Consultant

Bella is a former Associate at the Bank of England/FSA and a former BBC business journalist with 7 years’ PR experience. She specializes in financial services (banking, personal finance, risk management, compliance), financial technology and B2B/consumer technology. She started her PR career at Westminster Communications, has worked at Weber Shandwick Square Mile (clients included Orc Software, CLS Bank, Prebon), Text 100 (Novell, Vega, Philips), Hotwire PR (Colt, Last Mile, Scottish Power) and has also taken on clients of her own as an independent consultant (Passionato.com, Nucleus Capital Partners, Strongroom/AIR, Trident Energy). Bella began working with ICIS in 2009, particularly on Licuro.com and Ariel Communications. She is a composer and music producer and has a recording studio at home.

Rebecca Nottage, Administration and Accounts

Rebecca joined in March 2004 having spent the previous six years working within the financial PR industry in the City of London. Rebecca is extremely familiar with the requirement of our clients and provides administrative support as well as dealing with day to day accounting matters.
